Artisinal Country Market (Open from Victoria day to Labour Day)

The Big Apple Country Market is a unique shopping experience featuring fresh produce and delicious baked goods. Vendors of all kinds can participate and sell anything from homemade apple pies and bread to handmade crafts and artwork. The market is operational from the Victoria Day long weekend to the Labour Day long weekend.

Christmas Market (Open from November to December)

Every weekend (Nov - Dec), The Big Apple comes alive with a whimsical Christmas market featuring delicious apple treats made from the freshest apples you could find, picked right in our orchards at peak ripeness. Also includes other wonderful gift stalls & decor perfect for Christmas.

Outdoor Activities:

• Petting Zoo:

  Petting zoo where you can engage with our affectionate farm animals, including lambs, llamas, pigs, and ducks. The animals are friendly and docile enough to touch and feed – a fun little interaction that you can share with your friends and family

• Mini Golf:

  Classic summer activity for people of all ages. Take your time to appreciate the surroundings, breathe in the fresh air, and catch a glimpse of our beloved mascot, Mr. Applehead, as you take your shot. Open daily (weather permitted).

• Kids Train Ride:

  Charming little train that takes you on a scenic journey through lush farmlands, dense apple orchards, and grassy walking trails. Open weekends only (12PM-4PM).

• Carousel Ride:

  Kids can hop aboard our carousel ride and twirl amidst a colorful menagerie of animals and creatures. Open weekends only (12pm-4PM).

• Apple Observatory:

  The Big Apple features Applehead, an observatory that also happens to be the world's largest apple-shaped structure, sitting in the field near the village of Colborne.
